Diary of a Space Archivist: mid-season trailer 01

This trailer has been made especially for google app listeners. Unfortunately when I moved my show across to a new service, google app folk were adversely affected. This was unintended and, until recently, I had no idea!

I hope you’ll continue Sam’s inept journey through space with me by subscribing to the new feed!

About the Podcast

Diary of a Space Archivist
A light-hearted podcast about friendship, chocolate and space...
Sam archives space. Yep. It's pretty boring... until she finds an alien-bat-thing hiding inside her robot companion. How will she keep the cute, and definitely not terrifying, creature safe from the very corporation that employs her? After all, she's just an archivist.
Don't worry, everything will be fine...

Beccy Dye (nee Stirrup)

I'm Beccy and I make 'Diary of a Space Archivist', 'Story Trails' and the recently launched, 'Story Trails Tours'.

I'm a storyteller, so I have the unbelievable joy of creating stories and unearthing folktales and, well, telling them in a variety of joyous ways. It's a beautiful job, and I feel really fortunate to have it.

I work a lot with various community groups and people from the ages of 3 to 93, developing stories, alternative games, fun projects and podcasts.

'Diary of a Space Archivist' is aimed at adults (though folk have reached out telling me that they listen with their children). It's a comedy sci-fi set in space.

'Story Trails' is a mix-up of the various projects that I've developed and ranges from live shows right through to showcasing podcast episodes created by young people.

'Story Trails Tours' is aimed at family listening and should be fun for children from the age of 5 right through to older adults. It's set in an enchanted world that's seen better days, and involves an ex-valkyrie trying to give humans tours of the magical world whilst keeping them safe from all the other creatures within it...
